Your Gifts in Action

The sole mission of the Foundation is to provide Wickenburg Community Hospital with the resources and advanced technology necessary to deliver high-quality healthcare to local patients. Health and safety are WCH’s top priorities, and in the year 2022 alone the Foundation funded several projects that are helping our community receive precision healthcare close to home.

In 2022, the Foundation received nearly $1,000,000 in grants and donations to fund the following:

Mobile Medical Clinic Foundation Annual Achievements

$600,000 for an ADA-compliant mobile medical clinic equipped with two examination rooms, ultraviolet disinfection, imaging, a laboratory, basic medications and satellite connectivity for telehealth visits.

Chemotherapy Chair Foundation Annual Achievements
$114,000 raised at the Amigos Trail Ride and Drive and Diamond and Denim Gala to fund:

  • Six chemotherapy chairs with heat and massage for the infusion center
  • Reclining blood draw chair for the hospital lab
  • Refrigerator for the pharmacy to store chemotherapy drugs we require because of our exciting relationship with Cancer Treatment Centers of America
  • Fetal monitor for the Emergency Department in case of expectant mothers in distress or emergency deliveries
Ultrasound Technology Achievements Icon
$113,000 for a new ultrasound machine to provide clearer images and increase diagnostic accuracy.
Mammogram Achievements Icon
$100,000 in matching funds to complete the purchase of the Hospital’s 3-D mammogram technology.
